Yahoo Boys Attack EFCC Officials in Anambra: One Officer Kil*ed, Another Injur*d.

On Friday, alleged Yahoo boys ambushed EFCC agents in the Onitsha area of Anambra State. The attack kil*ed one cop and badly injur*d another.

Mission Turns De*dly

The EFCC team, which had travelled from their Enugu zonal headquarters, was on a mission to arrest suspected internet fraudst*rs. However, the suspects discovered their presence and fired fire, causing havoc in the neighbourhood.

Panic among bystanders

The abrupt gu*fire generated panic, and witnesses fled for safety. Some people around the site were injured while trying to flee.

Fatalities and injuries.

An EFCC official, identified as an assistant superintendent who had recently passed a promotional examination, was sh*t and kil*ed instantaneously. Another cop was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was still in critical condition as of Friday night.

Eyewitness Account
A source at the site, who asked to remain anonymous, recounted the incident: “The suspected internet fraudsters opened fi*e suddenly, ki*ling one officer instantly and critically injuring another.”

Police Confirmation
The Anambra State Police Command has verified the at*ack. SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the spokesperson, confirmed that investigations had begun. He also disclosed that one person had been apprehended, and a weapon had been discovered at the site.

The identity of the deceased officer will be protected until his family is told. Meanwhile, the EFCC has not issued a formal statement regarding the incident.
