Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador, stirred some controversy Monday night when he made an unusual offer to the Trump administration.
He consented to take in and house in El Salvador’s enormous mega-prisons deportees of any nationality, including violent American criminals. Bukele and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met at a high-level meeting before making this audacious suggestion, which, if accepted by the U.S. government, is sure to spark major legal disputes.

Previously a senator from the great state of Florida, Rubio was confirmed 99/0 during his Senate confirmation hearing as secretary of state under the second Trump administration.
He is currently on a lengthy diplomatic tour throughout Latin America with the goal of mobilizing regional support for President Donald Trump’s harsh immigration and deportation policies. Stay current and connect with us on [Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1An4REwgwy/?mibextid=wwXIfr].
